Joya de Nicaragua
The original Nicaraguan cigar.
Joya de Nicaragua debuted in 1968 as the first cigar manufacturer in the country. In that span, they've mastered Nicaraguan tobacco blends like no one else. Their portfolio not only boasts several industry staples, but they've managed to release a variety of new blends incorporating tobaccos from around the world. Each handcrafted premium cigar stands out in flavor, fullness in body, and robustness from the rich volcanic soils. Joya de Nicaragua Antaño 1970 is a great example of what Joya de Nicaragua can produce.
Created to celebrate the countries rich heritage it's a full-bodied robust cigar with a fantastic 91-rating offering notes of earth and leather, along with a hint of pepper and spice. Joya de Nicaragua Black is another superb selection featuring a Mexican San Andres Negro wrapper offering flavors of black cherry, cocoa nibs, leather, nougat, and a touch of peppermint, and received an impressive 93-rating. While many others have come to Nicaragua over the years, Joya de Nicaragua will always be the original. So dive in, and enjoy the first company to recognize the potential of Nicaraguan's fertile soil.
